Official: Chelsea attacker Christian Pulisic joins AC Milan
AC Milan officially announced that it has successfully reached an agreement with Chelsea for the signing of Christian Pulisic, captain of the United States national team.
According to information from Fabrizio Romano, a transfer back to the market specialist, AC Milan and Chelsea agreed on a final offer for the player on Friday evening. The transfer fee and bonuses of the deal will add up to more than 20 million euros. The deal was made possible thanks to the good relationship the two soccer clubs have always had. On the player side, Pulisic is ready to go to the San Siro, despite the fact that he also received an offer from Lyon in Ligue 1, which did not move him.
Pulisic has joined Chelsea since 2019 from Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga. In his past four seasons at Stamford Bridge, he has made 98 appearances scoring 20 goals and handing out 9 assists, and his overall performance has not lived up to the club's expectations. While he represented USA at the World Cup in Qatar, he contributed two assists in four games as captain and won the Man of the Match award twice.
