Teams qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League

Paris Saint-Germain catches the last train, La Liga with 4 teams and Premier League with only 2.

The group stage of the UEFA Champions League came to an end. The last round of matches determined the final teams to advance to the knockout stage. Porto and Paris Saint-Germain secured their spots in the next round. This season, the Round of 16 in the Champions League consists of 4 teams from La Liga, 3 teams from the Bundesliga, 3 teams from Serie A, 2 teams from the Premier League, 1 team from Ligue 1, 1 team from the Primeira Liga, 1 team from the Eredivisie, and 1 team from the Danish Superliga.

Group A -  Bayern Munich claim the top spot, while Copenhagen secured second place ahead of Galatasaray to advance to the Champions League Round of 16.

Group B - Arsenal and PSV Eindhoven qualified for the Champions League Round of 16, while Lorient will compete in the Europa League play-offs. Unfortunately, Sevilla finished last in the group and did not advance. Real Madrid dominated.

Group C - with a perfect record of six wins, securing their spot in the Round of 16. Napoli also advanced with 10 points, while Braga will participate in the Europa League play-offs with 4 points.

Group D - Real Sociedad and Inter Milan finish first and second, respectively, earning their places in the knockout stage. Benfica finished third and will compete in the Europa League play-offs. Atletico Madrid claimed the top spot.

Group E - edging out Lazio to reach the Champions League Round of 16. Feyenoord secured a place in the Europa League. The lineup for the Champions League Round of 16 looks incredibly exciting and competitive this season.

Group F - Borussia Dortmund finish first, securing their spot in the Round of 16. Paris Saint-Germain narrowly advanced as the second-place team. AC Milan finished third in the group and will compete in the Europa League, while Newcastle United was eliminated from the competition.

Group G - Manchester City and RB Leipzig claimed the top two spots, advancing to the Champions League Round of 16. BSC Young Boys finished third in the group and will participate in the Europa League play-offs.

Group H - witnessed Barcelona securing their place in the knockout stage in advance. Porto also earned a spot, while Shakhtar Donetsk finished third and will compete in the Europa League play-off matches.

The draw for the Champions League Round of 16 will take place in Nyon, Switzerland. The draw will follow the principle of avoiding teams from the same group or association facing each other. The 16 teams will play home and away matches in the knockout stage, with the winners progressing to the quarterfinals.
