UEFA has changed its rules
According to "Marca," UEFA has quietly changed its rules, allowing players who have not appeared in the Champions League to still receive a title and medal if their team wins the championship.
"Marca" revealed that on UEFA's official website, Isco is recognized as a five-time Champions League winner. This implies a change to the traditional regulations, as Isco was a mainstay or regular rotation player for Real Madrid in the first four championship runs, but he did not feature in any Champions League matches during the 2021-22 season under Ancelotti.
The report indicates that if Real Madrid wins the championship this year, even though Jular has not played in the Champions League this season, he may still receive the title and medal. The same would apply to Borussia Dortmund players.
However, this fact remains to be confirmed as UEFA has not yet released any official statement.
