Lazio midfielder Alberto is set to join Al-Duhail.
According to transfer expert Romano, Qatari club Al-Duhail has reached an agreement with Lazio for the transfer of Luis Alberto.
Alberto had previously expressed his desire to leave Lazio, causing quite a stir. Subsequently, club president Lotito emphasized that the club would only let him go if a satisfactory offer was received. According to Romano's latest report, after agreeing on a transfer fee of €11 million plus add-ons, Al-Duhail is now very close to signing Alberto. The two parties are currently finalizing the details to complete the agreement as soon as possible, after which Alberto may immediately fly to Qatar.
Multiple media outlets have reported that the 31-year-old Spanish star will sign a three-year contract with Al-Duhail, earning an annual salary of €8 million plus €2 million in bonuses.
