Scalvini has torn the ACL in his left knee

According to Di Marzio, Atalanta defender Scalvini has been diagnosed with a torn ACL after getting injured in the rescheduled match of Serie A's 29th round.

Towards the end of this match, Atalanta defender Scalvini suddenly fell to the ground, clutching his left knee in pain. He was immediately substituted and had to be assisted off the field by medical personnel. Di Marzio reports that Scalvini was ultimately diagnosed with a torn ACL in his left knee. Having initially been selected for Italy's preliminary squad, he will now completely miss this summer's European Championship.

Previously, Juventus defender Federico Gatti had been called up to replace Acerbi due to injury. It is currently unknown who will replace Scalvini in the national team.
