Man United's Casemiro to Decide Future Post Ten Hag Verdict
Manchester United's midfielder, Casemiro, may leave Old Trafford if a tempting offer comes his way from a Saudi Pro League club this summer. The decision will presumably follow the resolution of ongoing uncertainties surrounding the future of United's manager, Erik ten Hag. Football analyst Fabrizio Romano has shared that the Dutch head coach's position will be decided imminently, following expectations of his dismissal after the FA Cup final on May 25.
Interest in Casemiro has been expressed by Saudi clubs Al Ahli and Al Qasidiya, and Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr. However, discrepancies about United’s player valuation, set at £30 million, has been highlighted. Following their successful tenure at United and Real Madrid, Ronaldo has invited the Brazilian international to join him at Al Nassr for their third spell together.
Casemiro, who has missed 16 games due to injury this season, was notably absent from United's squad during the FA Cup final victory over Manchester City. Despite criticisms during his three appearances in defence, he played in the final eight matches of their Premier League campaign. The club managed to secure UEFA Europa League qualification, following a surprise victory over City, despite finishing eighth in the Premier League and an early exit from the 2023/24 Champions League.
