Dybala seems more inclined to stay at Roma rather than transfer away
According to "La Gazzetta dello Sport," Dybala seems more inclined to stay at Roma rather than transfer away.
This summer, Dybala faced a double blow: failing to qualify for the Champions League and not being called up by Argentina's coach Scaloni for the Copa America. Additionally, Dybala's future at Roma is uncertain, with his current contract containing a release clause of only 12 million euros. Fenerbahçe and Saudi clubs have shown some interest in him.
However, La Gazzetta dello Sport points out that Dybala now prefers to stay at Roma, and the club also hopes he will remain for at least another season. Dybala's salary for the next season will reach 7.5 million euros plus 2 million euros in performance-related bonuses, which is a considerable but manageable expense for the Friedkin family.
Dybala staying at the club will dispel Roma's plans to bring in potential replacement, Argentine starlet Soulé, who scored 11 goals and provided 3 assists during his loan spell at Frosinone last season.
