Erik ten Hag Moves Forward with Jadon Sancho
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that the club has resolved its issues with Jadon Sancho, marking a fresh chapter for the winger. Sancho, who was excluded from the first team following a defeat at Arsenal in September 2023, made his return to first-team training in July after a loan spell at Borussia Dortmund.
Upon his return to Carrington, Sancho had a positive meeting with ten Hag, leading to his reintegration into the squad. Ten Hag emphasized that the club has moved past their previous differences, stating, “We’ve drawn a line. We move on.”
Sancho, whose contract runs until June 2026 with an option for an additional year, did not join the team for their pre-season opener against Rosenberg in Norway as he is still ramping up his fitness. Over his three years at Manchester United, Sancho has made 82 appearances and scored 12 goals.
Ten Hag’s decision to bring Sancho back into the fold underscores the importance of having quality players available as United prepares for the upcoming season. The manager’s focus is now on moving forward and making the most of Sancho’s talents.
