Osimhen is asking for an annual salary of more than €30 million from Al-Ahli Jeddah
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Saudi sources have stated that Victor Osimhen would only consider joining Al-Ahli Jeddah for a minimum offer of €30 million, and with bonuses, the salary package would be even higher. Osimhen also wants a release clause included in his contract. Napoli might try to raise the potential transfer fee closer to his initial valuation of over €100 million through a sell-on clause.
In the past, even when there was more time left in the transfer window, Al-Ahli Jeddah only gave players 48 hours to decide. However, so far, Osimhen has been allowed to take his time with the negotiations. While Chelsea cannot and will not match the offer made by the Saudis, they are still working hard to gain the player's support. It seems their negotiations with Napoli will be smoother than those with the player. Osimhen is open to all options, but if the Nigerian forward does not agree to Chelsea's wage structure, the Blues will turn to other targets.
