Manchester City
The Premier League champions will be without Savinho because of a knee injury and Oscar Bobb after he broke his leg in training ten days ago. Manchester City will shape up in a 4-2-3-1 formation against Ipswich Town, with Ederson Moraes in goal.

Rico Lewis and Josko Gvardiol will be deployed as the full-backs, and they will look to contribute at both ends of the pitch. Manuel Akanji will start in the central defensive partnership alongside Ruben Dias.

As for the midfield unit, Bernardo Silva will start alongside Rodri. While the Spanish international will look to protect the backline and break up opposition attacks, Silva will look to add creativity and drive to the side. Meanwhile, Ilkay Gundogan will likely make his second debut for Manchester City after returning from Barcelona.

Kevin De Bruyne will be deployed in the attacking midfield role, and he will look to create goalscoring opportunities in the final third. Phil Foden and Jeremy Doku will be deployed in the wide areas, and Erling Haaland will lead the line for the home team.

Prediction: Manchester City 3-0 Ipswich Town
Ipswich certainly gave a good account of themselves against Liverpool last weekend, but they ultimately came up short against a stronger opponent and will once again be up against it when they face a Man City side who are unbeaten in 45 games at the Etihad across all competitions.

Indeed, it is difficult to see how the Tractor Boys can come away with a positive result against the reigning champions, who should have few problems claiming maximum points in comfortable fashion.
